Insight Global Ocular Melanoma Registry
The Insight Registry was established in June 2020, becoming the first natural history registry
for ocular melanoma that incorporates patient input. This registry was created to enhance the
understanding of ocular melanoma and the experiences of patients.
Although ACIS is a diverse organization, it is evident that ocular melanoma is more prevalent
among Caucasians and individuals of Northern European descent. While men are generally
more affected, our registry shows a higher percentage of female participants due to the
reluctance of men to share their data.
In 2025, we will celebrate our 5th anniversary, during which we will begin accepting applications
for study data from ocular melanoma researchers. Below is a brief overview of some intriguing
findings from the registry's first quarter of 2025.
